In general I don’t think it’s worth flaming products, but this one stood out to me in a way, where I couldn’t help myself. I just cannot believe how weird looking Gateway’s Profile (R) 6SB rendition of an iMac really is. See for yourself. And it’s not even cheap. Ouch! I really love the catchy name though. “Dude, come check out my new Profile (R) 6SB!” Ouch, ouch!

  1. It looks very…functional. It’s still cheaper than the iMac though. I’m surprised they still are throwing floppy drives in machines. The only thing I still have on floppy disks is DOS 6.22 and Word Perfect.

  2. Man, Gateway stopped “getting it” a long time ago. It is amazing they are even still in business…

    Of, and DOS 6.22 and Word Perfect were the shiznit back in the day. To put then in the same category with this pile o’ crap isn’t fair for them.
