iPhone 3g has landed

I partook in the madness and waited in line. Four hours to be exact. The wait: boring, the buying experience: perfect. Less than 5 minutes to transfer my number from t-mobile. I skipped activation in the store as it appeared to be rocky. Did it from home later without glitches. First impression: amazing piece of hardware. Used it to write this post.

  1. I’m glad you were able to get your hands on it and had a smooth experience. It was a less wonderful experience for me upgrading my current iPod Touch to the 2.0 software. The servers were down all day so and it finally worked at 11:30pm that night. Once I installed it the iPod was rendered helpless for about 10-15 helpless minutes. I unplugged and plugged and unplugged and plugged until finally it recognized the iTunes program again and synced all my stuff back on it. I have noticed that my apps have been unexpectedly quitting more lately with the new software update. Not just the new apps but Safari as well. Not sure what that is all about.
